OWNER’S BIO:
Matthew and Charis Browne
Matt is from Longview, WA but took up residency in Hawai’i for the past 15 years. He fell in love with the islands, and a couple years ago, he fell in love with an island girl. He’s been in the construction industry for a big part of his adult life. Most recently he was a superintendent for Tremco roofing and decided to go back to school for his BA. He just graduated with a 4.0 from University of Hawai’i with his BA in business in 2020.
Charis was born in and raised in Ewa Beach, HI. She has been in the travel industry for 20+ years and has also coordinated events and expos. She has also owned and operated a successful tattoo shop for 5+ years in Wahiawa, HI. After juggling 3 jobs as a single mother, living in Hawai’i, she finally met the man of her dreams. After COVID hit, she found herself unemployed from all 3 jobs.
Together, we decided to move to Arizona to open a couple businesses as we are like minded in the business industry. They own a remodeling business, Sunrise Remodels where Matt flips houses here in Arizona and also does upgrades and renovations. Now we are opening a coffee shop specializing in Hawaii Coffee and Goodies in Peoria, AZ. We want to bring a taste of Hawaii to everyone here in Arizona. We are an Ohana based company and bring the Aloha Spirit to everyone who comes to the shop. We also love to support local businesses and Hawaiian businesses so please feel free to talk with us and maybe we can coordinate an event together.
